Xbox one X constant issues - Lagging, freezing, not restarting ...

Hello all,

I have been having major issues with my Xbox one x, it takes ages to start up (and sometimes doesnt). I have to constantly power cycle it and even then it could take a few goes before it works. The menu constantly freezes even though its running in 1080p
and simple tasks like trying to open the settings is very difficult. I feel the console runs horribly compared to when I first got it.

Things I have tried:

- Power cycle. Done this many times does not help

- Factory reset. Done this many times now. Still nothing.

- Unplug and re-plug all connections including power. Still nothing

Currently my Xbox has nothing installed as I have just factory reset the whole thing and it still takes ages to boot up (after multiple attempts) and the menu is horrible. Are there any other recommendations to get it working like it used to?

Just got a Xbox One S Digital, it has been absolutely useless and is not fit for purpose. Every game freezes, takes ages to load anything and basic apps lile settings keep freezing. Factory reset the stupid thing 4 times already, did this, did that. Yall
need to move quick, Im reporting this product to the Consumer Watchdogs, not fit for purpose. Big no no. Pull the damn product before others get sucked in.

So put off, will deffo be buying a PS when i can.

Are you a member of the Insider program maybe? I think maybe it is a bad update issue.

Right, that’t what it looks like.

However, I’ve been logging this as a Problem Report vie the console for months, now my warranty has expired.

Firstly, check the ventilation holes on the sides of the console for dust accumulation and clean them of any blockage. I use a vacuum cleaner on each hole after I have disconnected the power cable from the console. If you're using
the console vertical/upright you must use the approved stand.

Secondly, plug the console into a separate wall socket by itself. Using power boards with other devices plugged into the same board may stop the console getting the required power it needs to operate efficiently.
