    I just got the Xbox One X about 2 weeks ago and since I booted it up I haven't been able to get a normal capture.

    -The clips always play at around 2x-4x faster than it should. Sometimes the 30 second clip will even finish in about just 2 seconds.

    -The audio for the 30 second capture gets condensed into about a second or two. So the capture is dead quiet with all that audio tossed somewhere in the middle. It sounds like it's being heavily fast forwarded

    -Re-watching the clip makes it even worse, it starts fast forwarding even more and the second or 2 of audio gets tossed somewhere else in there.

    I've tried lowering my frame rate from 120 to 60 as well as my X'x resolution from 4k to 1080p and setting my captures to 720p; so
    the lowest the quality settings can go; the issue persists.

    I've tried unchecking 'allow game captures', restarting with a power cycle and checking it back on; same outcome.

    The closest I've gotten was unchecking to auto-upload to live. The first capture is fine but the rest will just go back to what it was. I've searched for quite a while for a solution and can't find anything. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone
    have a solution for me?

    Yes, it's possible to stream with an Xbox One X and use a capture card.

    I don't have any experience with the capture cards, so I can't answer your question about streaming and hearing your teammate on the PS4. I just know capture cards can be used with the Xbox One X.

    Game captures are terrible.

    Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.

    Is there something wrong with the long-form recording option in my Xbox One X? Unable to reliably record for longer periods.

    I have a very, very fast Samsung ssd. It was 200 bucks i think last year for 1 tb. Same issue with xbox one x. I only capture in 4k hdr. Beyond that its pointless. So now, i don't capture. Xbox series x..... come on down!

    Hi,

    No sorry, it's not possible. Only the Xbox One and Series X|S can capture pictures and videos directly via the console.
