Xbox One X captures doesn't record mic

Hello,

I have an issue when I want to record some of my gameplays. I do not get the sound of the audio chat. Not mine or anyone in the chat party (CoD warzone is the game)

It worked until one point, don't know what happened, maybe the last update. I use the Microsoft Stereo Headsets.

Did anyone else had this problem?

When I record a game clip on the Xbox One X my voice is not recorded even though all my mic settings are set to on. I'm totally confounded as to why this is so, since my mic is working with other apps and game chat. Supposedly this feature is built into
the Xbox One X capture system.

You'd most likely have to report this to the game developer.

I've never had party nor game chat audio in any clip I've ever done directly from the xbox itself.

I have the exact same issue.

Only I'm using the new Elgate Capture Card HD60x

On the xbox series x I'm using a Logitech-G Headset G433 Zwart.

When I unplug the headset from the controller I can capture teammates mic sound.

As soon as I plugin the headset, it stops capturing teammates sound.

In the Xbox party chat, passthrough and "speaker and headset" is selected.

(when using the Elgato chat link, all works, but I don't want to use the anolog audio, but the HDMI audio. I have a separated Mic connected to the recording PC for my voice. I only need the mic connected to the controller to communicate in the game).

Based on the description, you are trying recording using the game bar with your discord voice. Let us see how we can help.

Windows Xbox Game Bar can capture recording your screen, any sound output and your mic. You can turn the mic off if you do not want to record what your mic picks up. This is how the Xbox Game Bar capturing works. You can also capture recording on the other app by changing the audio to record capturing setting. To check follow the steps below:

Open Xbox Game Bar or Windows key + G
go to Settings (gear icon)
select capturing and under Audio to Record, tick All.

I'm afraid you haven't helped.

As mentioned the capture cared records the game audio, it records party audio.

It is not recording public mic audio.

As the game audio and public mic audio come through the same channel, and the capture card is recording game sound perfectly, im led to believe its a privacy issue.

If I could get confirmation, or assistance, that would be great.

Your open ended, ridiculously obvious answer did nothing but fill a post on the forum.
