    Ever since i got my new xbox one x jedi fallen order bundled console, the recordings havent worked right. I have a 4k TV and my console set to 4k HDR. I have my recording and capture settings set to the highest quality so the maximum im supposed to get is
    30 seconds. But every time i record a clip it only comes out to 22 seconds. Then the clip only actually plays back 1 second when i go to watch it in my gallery. I esentially cant record anything anymore.

    i have lowered the quality settings and switched it to SDR to extend the recording length but that didnt work. I currently have an external HD for my games while my captures remain on the console. I have soft reset my console. I have factory reset my console
    twice. I have switched the save location. Nothing works. It seems to have steadily gotten worse over the last few weeks too. Before it was hit or miss, now it is all miss.

    I have spoken to two representatives for Xbox the first one was no help and just repeated all of the help sections to me that I have already read while reccomending i send it in for repair. The second person was willing to look at Reddit and the Xbox forums
    to see that others are having the same problem. A repair ticket was not recommended.

    is anyone else having the same or a similar issue?

    I have the exact same issue. Was told next update should fix it. Just started out of nowhere. Everthing worked one day and not the next. No captures work now.

    Really? I couldnt find anything anywhere even acknowledging it. That makes me feel a little better but not by much considering its already been 5-6 months. And not being able to record anything at all on my brand new console is frustrating.

    Exactly the same problem, and I have reportedthat issue
    many times,it is known issue for all users after last update 15.5.

    As far as I know fix
    for that 4K capture problem already exists but that update is not for us regular users,
    we still have to wait for regular update.

    This guy received that update from insider hubs last update and 4K capture is fixed as you can see

    this is a known issue and the xbox team is working on a fix so you have to wait for it to be fixed

    I'm getting the same issue. I'm trying to record onto an external hard drive. Never had problems before and now all of my clips are 22-25 seconds. I just recorded a full hour of gameplay and went to upload it to onedrive and all that was there was 22 seconds
    of it. Even though I checked multiple times to see if it was still recording.
