Xbox One X can't add account or sign in

Just bought an Xbox one X and i cannot sign into my account

When i try to ''add new'' for my profile get a circle like loading and then just takes me back to the ''add new'' promt

There is no error code to reference

Still the same problem...should i return the console?

Have you power cycled your network hardware as suggested above?

Always check your network connection status before doing a factory reset.

If you're using WiFi to connect your console, try wired ethernet cable connection instead. You may be getting WiFi signal interference.

Thank you for reaching out. I see you've been having a hard time adding your account back into your console even after quite a bit of troubleshooting. If you haven't already, I want you to try performing

a factory reset on your console while keeping your games and apps by doing the following:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Settings.
Select All Settings.
Select System.
Select Console info & updates.
Select Reset console.

Let us know if this helps or if you encounter something new.

Also i forgot to mention when i first boot up the console in the account section happend the same and i get a message

"Sign in from home

After going home, press the xbox button to sign in or add profile"
