    Hello folks. Does anyone know if the X will continue to support 3D Blu-ray Discs. I have pre ordered the new machine then read somewhere that due to 3D being dead it may not offer the support. I have loads of 3D movies so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    xbox one x can't play 3d bluray

    Hello guys,

    i'm from germany and i have a big problem with my Xbox one x.

    after the last hdr fix update for the bluray player app on Microsoft store, my Xbox one x can't play any 3d bluray.

    Standard 2d bluray, DVD and 4k UHD works great on my Xbox one x.

    If i start a 3d bluray he works in 2d great, but if start the 3d disc menue, the connection lost to my tv and i become an blackscreen.

    LG 55uh8509 last Firmware is installed

    Xbox one x last updates are installed

    What i do...

    switch hdmi port on my tv 1 2 3 on tv

    reset my Xbox to factory

    delete memory from bluray settings on Xbox

    install the bluray player app again

    disable 3d and activate 3d in Xbox settings

    so i report that problem on german microsoft support...

    my question is...

    have any other people the same problem or i'm alone?

    i think you guys must add on xbox scorpio , 4k hdr bluray player, dolby atmos, dts x, sound

    When will Microsoft patch the One X to support Dolby Vision on the 4K Blueray player

    I have a XBOX One X connected to an OLED LG C8. If I use the Netflix app on XBOX One X then the LG will display Dolby Vision. So I know that it is passing. But If I use a 4K Bluray that has Dolby Vision, the player will only output HDR。Blu-ray
    playback is already up to date.

    Its not ok to have to keep our old 3d bluray players because its one more item that needs to be hooked to home network. every time there is a new 3d bluray release i need to update my bluray player for security codes

    in fact its not ok to have to keep all my xbox 360 either.

    i am not the one who marketed it as ALL IN ONE
