Xbox One X blinks twice then closes game

First thing you need to do would be to delete the game and download again.

I will suggest that you do a procedure on your console, it will not delete any games you have on your console, however it will require you to enter your accounts again on your console.

Press the Xbox  button to open the dashboard.

Select Profile & System > Settings > System > Console Information.

Select Reset Console.

On the Restore console? screen, you will see three options:

Choose the option Restore and keep my games and apps.

After the procedure see if the problem has been fixed.

My headset is way different compared to that one my dongle is newer and doesn't blink twice when I do that it rapidly blinks

any fixes? did you have to buy a new controller?

Kindly try performing a powercycle on your console by following the steps below:

"1. Press and hold the Xbox button for 5-10 seconds, until the controller turns off.

2. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the Xbox button again to turn the controller back on."

I have the same problem and I tried everything I could think of such as switching to new batteries or updating the controller, but mine stopped working even when plugged in, it just blinks twice and fades alittle, then my friend had the same problem so it's probably a problem with the board connection or sum. I'm not willing to buy a new controller but I might have to at this point.
