XBox One X and updates on oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico

Greetings,

I deployed and Xbox One X to platform in the Gulf of Mexico to an oil platform for personnel to use to help unwind etc.. I have extremely limited access to a wireless connection 2Mb via satellite with 500+ms latency shared by 50+ people. Seem my problem.
and no I cannot connect to corporate network. Console needs a 3.5Gb update. I could just pull the trigger and take all the bandwidth. However this would not only take days to update, if it ever did, but get me in hot water with the personnel on board.
Question: Is there a way to download these updates from onshore from MS, put them on a USB drive and manually update from removable media? Or do I just unplug the console every month or and send entire unit to my house and update then ship it back platform?

Did anyone catch this....

Altman sunk it and the installation, but the Marker itself is still intact, just at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico.
