    Xbox and Microsoft have decades of providing error riddled products and services, I won't bother mentioning them all, the list would be too long.

    Now take the latest Xbox One X, it has been over hyped and many supporters, sellers and promoters have unscrupulously made it shine, when in actual fact it is a lovely looking black box that crashes, erases save games, pops up constant error screens on start-up
    and is just an all round TERRIBLE gaming console!

    Yes it has amazing power and it looks great, but the software and the system is AWFUL!

    I am not being biased here, I have no affiliations to any one brand or company, but I personally wasted 4 days trying with all my resources, expertise and the Xbox support page trying to just get my Xbox One X to restart or start without the error screen

    I went through so much stress and upset after paying £450 for this console, from Friday-Monday it was SHEER HELL! ... I managed to play Forza Horizon 2 for a few hours on Sunday afternoon and it was so much fun, I didnt want to stop.... I went to bed happy
    that night.

    When I went to press power on the Xbox One X, the error screens had returned! ... I tried 11 cold boots, plugs out, cables out, and even tried to perform the reset etc as show in the screen below. ...

    ...but not of these options has and was ever responsive! ...I tried everything and then gave up, because it was making me sick.

    I returned it and Im now waiting for a refund from Amazon UK.

    I am not not gaming, and I have been totally put off video gaming. Lots of people tell me, buy a PS4 Pro, because they are more reliable and they respect their customers, unlike Microsoft - who definitely do not.

    If Microsoft or anyone from the team is actually reading this, I'd like to know, why don't the Xbox and Microsoft teams ever own up and take responsibility for the heartaches, upset and stress that they cause on millions and millions of users worldwide?

    Does Microsoft and Xbox care that little about customers who have been with them for decades... like myself, I'm 40, and I have always used Microsoft products, I must be mad, because I have had so much trouble from them!

    ...so my real question and point of discussion is, why don't Microsoft and the Xbox team ever say sorry and own up to the Xbox One X being such a error riddled failure? (even after all the current updates and patches)

    Secondly I'd like to know if its true that Microsoft and Xbox know that "more problems, means more money" and have they been following this business model since the 1990s?

    ...and I'd like to know why I should trust Microsoft and Xbox ever again?

    It was confirmed by Microsoft before Xbox One launch, that the Xbox One will not support external storage at launch. Also Microsoft confirmed that they add this function in the future. A little patience will be good. The Xbox team is working
    on some other things at the moment, but this function is definitely on the list.

    You can listen your music today from Xbox Music, SkyDrive, or from audio cd.

    In all honesty, the problems are not that widespread. Of course you're going to hear more about then because most people only speak up when there is an issue, but with billions of people playing Xbox, you really only hear about a small percentage with issues.
    Anytime there has been a widespread issue, Microsoft has owned up to it (red ring of death comes to mind). I've had all 3 versions of the One (the original from day 1 as well as the X from day 1) and not had a an issued. We did buy 1 One X that was faulty
    out of the box and exchanged it for a fully functioning one. It's a piece of electronic equipment. Unfortunately these days, things happen like that with electronics. There are people out there who do have problems with Playstation as well. It's not immune.
    Unfortunately you got a dud right out of the box, but that's just one console. I'd be more concerned if you exchanged that one and ended up going through the same issues multiple times.

    I hate to say but, Microsoft and Xbox are still not getting that and simply retaining their own pride and the old good days brilliance. They do not realise that they are simply killing their own market share and don't even bother swing a fist to fight back.
    So why they should care and apologise? They are just following the downfall of Sega, hoping that all problems can be solved by launching a new machine, then all stupid gamers would come back anyway. No wonder that Microsoft failed in mobile phone market, and
    the gaming console market would be the second fiasco. Not to mention that the shrinking PC market, or even business solutions like Office, SQL server etc....... sigh.
