    Xbox one x 4k Hdr/Sdr capturing no more :(


    Since my xbox one x got update, it's not capturing any 4k video there are still options are available for 4k Hdr and 4k Sdr, if I select those option and try to capture 30sec. Video or upto 60mins video on external Hdd. It's capturing only in 1080 Sdr. Why?
    Is there anybody familiar with this issue and if you know the solution please help me out, it's really appreciate that and that solution make my day.

    I'm not sure but is there in my HDMI fault or what? But still I can paly the games in 4k HDR with that HDMI cable.

    I have the xbox one x with a 4k tv it does take the 4k hdr pictures its just when they upload to my phone or twitter it looks like the sdr version and not 4k hdr

    So, this seems to be a small flaw in the update you received, but it is important to know if your friend is in the
    tester program (XBOX Insider), which may be only a momentary flaw and should soon be up and running again.

    Just a doubt, is the cable the friend is using, the original device? Because different cables can cause loss of quality between console and television / monitor.

    This is a known issue that the Dashboard team is working on trying to resolve. Unfortunately the latest Alpha Dashboard release continues to be broken with the exact same problem that you describe for the last 4K clip that I captured before.

    I will continue to test 4K clips in new Alpha Dashboard releases until it is fixed.

    I know these all steps and my all settings are good. I also capturing in my external 1tb hdd with 3.0

    I also did hard reset but it's still not working.

    Are you on Preview Program? in this case maybe is a momentary issue of this particula dashboard build, you can give feedback and report this problem.

    Don't worry about the HDMI cable, if you can play, the cable is working and in either case is not linked to capture settings.
    Well I'm not in any preview program. I'm on stable build and yesterday I did hard reset my xbox but nothing is happening. It's still capturing all games in 1080p rather than 4k hdr/sdr what's going on. I already selected the 4k hdr option for external storage
    but it's not working. Please help me. It's very painfull now. :(
