Xbox One X 4K Capturing Is Broken

I'm not sure exactly when 4K recordings stopped working properly because I switched back to 1080P recordings for the longer clip length of 1 or 2 minutes on my Project Scorpio Xbox One X.

The 4K clips may be broken now because they might have made a change in the way that they are captured and/or prepared. Now there is a notification that the clip is being prepared which I don't remember previously (they might have just been captured originally,
this step doesn't happen for 1080P clips). The 4K preparing process may be what is broken in the newer Dashboard releases.

Unfortunately I have not yet seen an updated Dashboard release that fixes the 4K clip issue.

Its not a problem of having it set up, its been fine up until a month ago it started doing this. Again, I have plenty of GBs left on my hard drive and have cleared out even more space and deleted old recorded clips and images. I also do not have anywhere
else I could save them. No external hard drives or anything.

It works in 1080, just not 4K anymore. The settings say you cannot record longer than 30 second clips at a time in 4K so idk.

Perhaps trying to manually record it for 30 seconds would work better than the pre-selection button of using 30 second records.

If 30 seconds do not work, try 1 minute recordings, then you could transfer the recorded files to your desktop to edit them into a 30 second clip.

Hopefully these work arounds can fix this strange occurance

If you want to capture media just get a capture card is way better than dealing with console restrictions
