Xbox one won’t unmute

When did you get this mic? Maybe you could get a replacement as new mic’s can sometimes stuff up.

It is also worth connecting the controller via a micro USB to the console and going to settings>kinect & devices>devices & accessories and selecting the controller and checking for a firmware update, with the headset plugged into the controller.

Your technical support rep was the most condescending representative I have had the please of talking too. The last option was a factory reset. We just completed and the damn mute icon is still there! So please someone tell me how this is not an XBox One
