    Xbox one won’t turn on. & it’s NOT the power brick.


    So my xbox one wont come on. It just makes that lil bloop noise and the light comes on for split second then turns off. Its not the power brick because i have switched out using my friends cords and brick. My cords and brick work on his and his dont work
    on mine.

    It’s done this like 8 or 9x in the past. So i unhook my xbox all connections due to storms approaching. I plug everything back in afterwards and this happens. So in the past after about 3-7 days it will come back on.

    its already been 4 days and its still not working.

    So, my biggest wonders are, is xbox set up like a computer where it goes to sleep for a really long time and basically you cant get in till the sleep is over?

    Or is this xbox just messed up?

    And if its messed up, its from 2015 so theres no warranty anymore. I cant send back to xbox peeps.

    Can i let just anyone i know try to fix it?

    And why would the xbox be bad after only 5 years? I have an xbox 360 still working like a champ! Its waaayyy older... is this like a typical problem for xbox one? And lastly, does anyone know what the problem could be? Like has anyone heard of or even successfully
    repaired with full knowledge of what the problem was with it?

    sorry ive asked so much.. im just very irritated, frustrated and confused on this whole thing. I really want my xbox back working. Im paying for game pass ultimate and cant even get on it. I miss my xbox guys, like for real. Can someone please offer any
    help on this. Any advice or help is super greatfully appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

    My Xbox won’t turn on

    It would seem the issue is with your power brick. Do you have any means of trying another power brick(borrow a friends?) to see if the cause is isolated to the brick itself and hopefully not your console.

    Thanks for the reply, but servicing is not an option for me because I moved from the US to a country not on the supported list for servicing. I left a spare power brick back home in the US. Could using that power brick possibly solve the issue? I can’t tell
    if it’s my console or my power brick malfunctioning.

    With almost any problem I have on my Xbox, before calling Microsoft support to help, I do a few things that often fix the issue. Have you tried turning your Xbox on with the controller rather than by pressing the button? Unplugging the console from the
    power brick and unplugging the power brick from the wall for 30 seconds will often do the trick. Wait until the light on the power brick goes off to ensure it has completely reset. Also ensure that all plugs are pushed in tight, as that is a common problem
    with my Xbox not turning on. Hope this helps!

    So I had this issue with my original xbox one too but before I paid to get it fixed I borrowed my brother power brick to see if it would work and it did.Check to see if it's not the power brick.
