Xbox One won't turn on and either will the fan

As I said in the description, I already tried buying a new power cord and it did not solve the issue. At this point, it's not worth waiting a month to get a new Xbox One when a new one comes out in a month. I think I am just gonna get a PC. Thanks, later.

Your Xbox One console won't turn on

If your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on, your power supply may be faulty or improperly connected, or there may be another reason. Try the following solutions.


The Xbox One X or Xbox One S console

Important Be sure to try all of the following solutions. If you don't, you could mistakenly request a new power supply when it's your console that needs repair.

Reset your internal power supply

The Xbox One S and Xbox One X have an internal power supply that works in all regions worldwide. If your console won't turn on, it may simply need a power reset. Often, power issues are due to the power supply resetting after a power surge.

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

1. Unplug the power cord from the console.
2. Wait 10 seconds.
3. Plug the cord back into the console, and then press the Xbox button  on the front of the console.

If the console turns on, the internal power reset worked. Do this step if the problem happens again.

If the console still doesn't turn on, try the following:

• Check that the wall outlet you’re using is working with other devices.
• Check that the power cable is firmly connected to the wall outlet and to your console.
• Ensure that you're using the power cable that came with your console, and that it's the correct cable for your region.
• If your console still will not turn on, it needs to be serviced. To request service, sign in to Device Services with your Microsoft account and submit a service order.

Dude this literally what I think is gonna happen to me. Honestly I am just gonna buy a PC at this point. Xbox One isn't even worth it at this point haha. Thank you for this.

I had this exact same problem , sent it off to germany , took 2 weeks to get back , got it back friday ....and powered it up sat ...all was good .......sat evening even played fifa for 1 game ....got up sunday ...today an the same problem again ....switches
on ....no fan noise an black screen .......this is my 2nd one x i have had this problem with ....an have been with microsoft since the 1st xbox .......extremly aggrievated as i work away an only play at weekends so very rarley gets used .....
