Xbox One won’t to connect to internet using my Vodaphone MiFi

I don't have a pc but I've tried sharing my mac internet connection ( from iphone usb, ) over ethernet to xbox, but I get the same error. I wonder is 3 mobile in UK have changed there nw config. Tomorrow I'll get back other MiFi device that used to be
NAT open, and see if that is still the case. If it is then I wonder where the NAT strict is coming from as both my MiFi device and my iphone are on the 3 mobile UK NW. This is for my son who is at college and mobile internet is his only option. Thanks

Try this:

1. Connect your MIFI to your PC using your USB cable.
2. Open your Web Browser.
3. In the Address bar Type
   http://192.168.1.1; the Welcome page will appear.
   
4. In the “Login” field top right hand corner type in “admin” then click login.
   
5. On the HOME page select “OPEN” under the WLAN Profile.
   
6. Then click the advanced tab and select settings. Then check all the boxes; click apply.The under the advanced tab click port forwarding check the
   
7. “HTTP (Web) Server” box. Then put in a IP address such as: 192.168.1.254.
   
8. Now under the “security” tab change your password and then click apply.
   

Then click apply again. Log out of the Welcome page and unplug your MIFI from your PC and plug it into the wall outlet. Then try to connect you xBox 360 to the MIFI. Your xBox will not connect if the MIFI is still plugged
in to your PC. I am able to connect my xBox, Wii and Blackberry to the MIFI.

The Xbox One will not work with a MiFi or Mobile Hotspot internet service.

This is because mobile data is not fast enough to meet the Xbox One demands, nor is it reliable enough.

On top of this, these sorts-of connections do not support NAT in any form, which means the Xbox One would be unable to establish a proper connection.

You will need to connect to an ADSL or Fibre broadband service.

Hey there DietaryFilly! I wouldn't recomend using your Samsung Galaxy as a Wi-Fi hotspot for your Xbox to run through. Mainly because ff you don't have an unlimited data plan, the phone bill can rocket sky high.

Could we try focus on troubleshooting your bridge connection.

Since Vodaphone is the one billing you, you need to contact them about this.
