    Xbox One won't play/freezes some Directv channels


    I recently had to replace all my electronics & now my Xbox won't play certain channels though my Directv Genie. No problems before the replacements. I haven't had it set back up long so I don't know what all channels I can't get. When I try to turn it to
    HBO (501) it seems to freeze up my Directv. No menus will come up when this happens. Nothing. But then I can hit the numbers on the remote to turn it to a channel I know works & after a few seconds its changes to that channel (nothing happens on the screen
    before it changes). I plugged my Directv directly into my TV & those channels work fine so I know it's not my Genie. I've searched this problem & I can't find anything that helps.

    Xbox one won't set up properly. Won't change channels. I have called tech support to no avail. They directed me here. I have directv with genie boxes in each room

    Aspect ratio of tv

    Hello all. I'll get right to the point. Hooked up my directv through the Xbox one. Now the aspect ratio of only one channel is squished. Am I missing something in the settings? Even the directv guide is compressed just on the one channel. (Channel 287 AHC)

    I have the same issue but with foxtel in Australia. It seems to be an issue with changing between HD and SD channels. You would think a console as powerful as the one wouldn't have an issue with changing definitions.

    It also seems to occur when exiting from a game and going straight to tv. I have to power down and back on to fix it. Drives me crazy.

    No Picture/Sound with DirecTV - Sync Issues?

    I just hooked up my DirecTV box to my Xone and all the channels work fine except the movie channels like HBO, Starz, etc. Whenever I go to one of those channels either recorded or live the entire TV app just freezes. Eventually I can get back to another
    basic channel thankfully. Anyone know what might be up?

    Ridiculous. No one has any answers either. Directv support is clueless and there is no additional support channels for getting answers.
