Xbox one won't connect to my kinect

I also forgot to add that it won't connect to any other devices. My kinect won't turn on, my controller can't connect to the Xbox and I can't connect via Smart glass

[/quote] No it won't. You need a USB to connect it to your computer and the Xbox one Kinect does not have that. Plus the system requirements say Xbox 360 Kinect or Microsoft Kinect for windows.

Hey, its with Kinect. I've fiddled with the connections and to make sure the USB is secure, which it is.

The other issue, with black screen, seems to be around the HDMI. I've switched off UHD Color setting on the HDMI port on the TV and it seems to be working.

However, with the Kinect switch on, I think my Xbox is having issues, when I get the Xbox on, I get logged in via Kinect but it won't connect to Xbox Live. It won't even search for networks half of the time.

I just hope I can connect my Xbox into my Xbox 360 and connect that to my Xbox One for a totally Xbox orgasmic experience.

Hopefully I can connect my Kinect to my Kinect 2 which will be connected to my Xbox One which is connected to my Xbox 360 which is connected to my Xbox to record this fantastic event.

If anything, you're limiting choice by asking for it not to come with the system. If you have to buy it separately, not everyone will be able to afford it, making it not an option at all. However, if everyone has 1, they can choose whether or not to use
it. It'll just take up additional space if they choose not to since it has to be connected, but IMO that, along with the high-price point for the console are the only downsides to getting the Kinect with the Xbox One.

Although it's true that the high-price point may mean many people won't be able to get the Xbox One, it won't matter, simply because they won't have it - that won't affect me personally. However, if someone has an Xbox One, but not a Kinect, whereas I would
have both, I can't make the full-use out of my purchase because I won't be able to Skype with them, for example. This happens to me with my current Kinect - I can't make full use of its features like the Kinect video chat because not everyone has one or can
afford 1. With the Xbox One, I won't have to worry about that.

This is similar to the developers not having to worry about whether they should spend money to cater to a smaller market - if everyone has 1, they can innovate with the Kinect freely knowing that everyone will have one. Even if everyone doesn't use it, they
can make an attempt to entice those people with said innovations.
