    Xbox One won’t connect to iOS app


    Hi. I am trying to connect my home xbox one to the xbox ios app. Both are logged in on the same account. When i open the app and select to add an existing console, it asks me to turn on my xbox. Ive tried reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, and rebooting the xbox but the app just sits and waits to connect. Both are on the same wifi network as well. Appreciate any ideas. Thanks

    The app is 32-bit code and would have to be redone for 64. For example iOS no longer supports 32-bit apps. So it almost certainly won’t be turned back on, nor will the Xbox One Smartglass which has similarly been discontinued for years. People didn’t use it, And apps like this can be major security issues so you can’t just leave them dormant.

    Hi,

    each time I’m on the xbox app on IOS or W10, it connect me on Xbox One. It’s stupid because it’s doing that even if someone else is playing on the console.

    can I be only on the xbox app?

    If your tied to one xbox on your network it will do that to you if your on a diff xbox
