    XBOX ONE wont completely turn off, started with an error.


    I woke up this morning to my xbox bringing up an error code (E100) with the options to troubleshoot or restart the xbox. I restarted it and even turned it off and turned it on but it wouldn't sign me in and it kept bringing up the same error so I unplugged the xbox and plugged in back in which got me through.

    I stared browsing the store after it let me through and noticed that my xbox was feeling a little buggy. I couldn't type on the search box and the controller seemed unresponsive. I pressed the Xbox button on the controller which brought up the menu but I also found out that I couldnt scroll down in it. The only thing I was really able to do was bring up the menu and put it away, the rest was frozen.

    I tried restarting it with my controller but holding down the xbox button didnt bring up the options to "turn off" or "restart" like it always did, so I pressed the button on the console to turn it off then on again.

    When it came back on it was still doing the same thing which got me really annoyed so I just decided to shut off the whole thing only to notice that the light on the console was blinking non stop. I didn't unplug it since I do not wanna damage it more.

    Any ideas as to whats going on?

    Yes the red dot is the power button, but no there is no error code or anything, it just completely shut off and wont turn back on.

    The xbox one is the one that completely turns off. The xbox one x wont make it past the screen that allows you to do an offline update. So it's broke.

    No error code. After I start MW up, after a minute or two, it completely turns off my xbox.

    I'm having the same issue. Whenever my xbox turn off it wont turn off so that means no restarting to finish the update. even if i unplug and and get it to start then power it off myself it still wont turn on unless i unplug it and plug it back up

    My xbox one wont turn on all the way. It starts for a couple seconds then shuts off. No picture on my tv pops up and the power supply ligjt changes color like its supposed to, whote when the xbox TRIES to turn on and orange when it's off.
