    How can i connect my Xbox One with my Laptop ? Can i put the HDMI cable into my Laptop and the Output/Input from my Xbox ? Because my Laptop send Signals out and the Output from the Xbox too and i dont want to Damage something so can someone help ?

    xbox app can't find my xbox one

    I have my windows 10 laptop and the xbox one on the same network connected with a Ethernet cable and it seems the xbox app or the laptop can't recognize the xbox one I have connected

    Is there a way to connect an ethernet cable to my laptop which is connected to wireless. Then be able to connect to Xbox LIVE through that. My router is broken and only connects to one computer in my house which is my laptop.

    No, do not connect your Xbox One HDMI out into your Laptop HDMI out port.

    If your laptop and Xbox are on the same network, then you can stream the Xbox to your PC with the Xbox App.

    You can find your IP address in the network settings:

    1. Open System > Settings
    2. Select Network > Network settings
    3. Select Advanced settings
    Your current IP should be listed.

    XBOX One - 802.1X / WPA2-Enterprise

    The Xbox One support WPA, WPA2, and WEP. There's nothing in the support documentation about WPA2-Enterprise and 802.1X authentication.

    I know others in universities have used their laptops to connect to their universities networks and then used the MAC Address from the laptop connection on the Xbox 360. This should be possible with the Xbox One as well by adjusting the alternative MAC Address
    and replacing it with another already connected device like a laptop.

    NO, your laptop have an HDMI out, you can workaround this using Xbox Companion App on Windows 10.

    If both Xbox One and your laptop use ethernet connection to your network, you can play without any issue.

    It's a combo modem/router provided by our ISP Rogers - there are no antenna's

    Wired connections to router = one laptop & one printer

    Wireless connections to router = one laptop & our xbox 360
