Xbox One Wireless controller on Windows 10 PC

I recently bought a new Xbox One Controller to use on my PC. I have been using one of the newer white controllers, but I got this new one because I liked the look better. I've been able to use my white controller over usb since I bought it without any
issue, but now when I try to use my new black controller, it becomes unresponsive after using it for more than a few moments, usually less than a minute. I've updated both the firmware for the controller using the Accessories app and the driver using the device
manager but the issue persists. Has anyone found a solution to this issue?

Have your problem solved ? Otherwise, try to connect your controller with the Bluetooth

 

That guide appears to be for issues with an Xbox One system, my issue is on windows 10.

 

The controller does not support Bluetooth and my PC does not have a bluetooth receiver

 

So it's not a new xbox one controller, since 2016 with the xbox one s, the xbox controller has the Bluetooth connection. Btw, is your controller official ?
