  1. Xbox One Wireless Controller Firmware Update Failed (Win 10) -- Light Flashing, Now Unusable

I attempted a firmware update for my Xbox One Wireless controller using the Xbox Accessories app (Windows 10), but the update just hung at 46%. I disconnected the controller, and now every time I plug
it in, the "X" light flashes and the PC does not detect the device. The Accessories app states "Connect an Xbox One Controller to get started."

How do I recover the controller? I believe its firmware needs to be flashed. (I do not have an Xbox One console.)

    ***Moved from:Windows 10/Windows settings***.

    :)

  2. Xbox app streaming not (any longer) supports two controllers ?

I am connecting two Xbox one wireless controllers through an Xbox Wireless Adapter to a Windows 10 PC, and always playing my Xbox one console games on Win 10 by streaming, and those all went right and smooth, until the recent updates.

Now, with the latest updates of both the Xbox one console firmware ( 10.0.15063.3054/rs2_release_xbox_1705.170512-1759 ) and the Xbox App ( 29.29.17002.00000 ), only one ( the first working one when streaming starts ) controller is usable in streaming. No
matter in the home page or in game, only one controller is recognized by the console.

The two controllers are the original first gen Xbox one controllers (without 3.5mm jacks), both individually properly recognized by Windows 10 ( Win 10 Pro 1703/15063.296 ) and works well, even inside the Xbox app itself, except streaming.

    Any suggestions?

Xbox One Wireless Controller Firmware Update Failed (Win 10) -- Light Flashing, Now Unusable

Hi! Rather unlikely it's due to this, but have you checked if any Windows 10 updates are available? While there is a chance that some users here might know about this specific issue, it seems to be a bit uncommon and therefore I could imagine you would have
to reach out to Xbox Support in order to find out more.

So if you should receive no other help, give it a try: Contact Us | Xbox Support

XBox One Wireless Adapter Driver (BSOD)

    Hi

Bought the dongle this week and BSOD mt7612us.sys every time very shortly after starting to stream from XBONE. Controller works perfectly hard wired. The PC is Win 10 32bit. Updated the firmware on the controller, the mediatek update on the PC and the wireless
adapter driver update but still BSOD. It is not interference. The wireless adapter works fine on my other Win 10 PC, which is a 6 month old 64bit machine but I didn't buy it for this one. Not happy!

XBox Elite Series 2 unplugged from PC using USB won't auto connect to Bluetooth

I would also like to add I have the exact same issue on Windows 10.

Just purchased the Elite 2 controller and found that the initial bluetooth pairing works fine (TP link Bluetooth Dongle). Then plugged the supplied USB-C cable into a USB port on my PC to charge. After disconnecting from the USB C cable the Xbox light flashes
on the controller. Power cycling the controller makes no difference I still have the flashing light.

Only by removing the bluetooth device and re-pairing does it work again. Note that I have updated the controller to the latest Firmware.

For Information I have a Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows and that works as expected without the above problems.

    Hope this helps.

    controller keeps disconnecting

    A) Power cycle your console
A power cycle can restart your Xbox One console completely, which is helpful for fixing issues on your console and your controller. To power cycle your console:

    1) Hold the Xbox button on the front of your Xbox One console for about 10 seconds to turn off your console.
    2) Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on.
    3) Try your controller and see if this fixes your connection problem.

    B) Reconnect your controller
You can also try reconnecting your Xbox One controller to your console. This can rebuild the connection and prevent your Xbox One controller from disconnecting frequently.

If you are using a wired controller, unplug the cable and then plug it back. If the problem persists, try using another cable or USB port to see if it is resolved. If you are using a wireless controller, you can follow the steps below to reconnect your
    controller.

    1) Hold down the wireless connect button on the controller until the Xbox button on your controller flashes.
    2) Hold down the wireless connect button on the controller until the Xbox button on your controller stays on.
    3) Try your controller and see if this fixes your controller.

    C)Update your controller firmware
Sometimes the Xbox One controller disconnecting problem is caused by the wrong or outdated controller firmware. You should make sure your controller firmware is up to date, and update it if it isn’t. If your controller is totally unusable, you need another
    controller to operate the update.

    To update your controller firmware:

    1) Connect a USB cable between your controller and your console.
    2) Sign in to Xbox Live on your Xbox One console.
    3) Press the Menu button on your controller
    4) Select Settings.
    5) Select Devices & accessories.
    6) Select the problem controller.
    7) Select Update.
    8) Select Continue.
    9) If the system tells you “No updates needed“, your controller firmware is up to date. Otherwise wait for the update to complete.
    10) Check your controller and see if it gets back to normal.

    Controller disconnection issues (my case)

Just to add that my controller now disconnects every 10 seconds - making it unusable, batteries are fine - on the final 405 firmware, just waiting for 406.
