Bluetooth requires a PC running the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. See

For best performance, update your controller. See

Bluetooth is supported on PCs, tablets, and laptops. It is not supported on mobile devices. Bluetooth
does not support any attachments, such as headsets, chatpads, or the Xbox Stereo Adapter. We
recommend connecting only one controller at a time using Bluetooth.

I have the same problem as the questioner. And the web page mentioned didn't help on resolve the problem. The LED in XBOX key didn't light up when I tried to connect. So is there another method to get it fix?

I tried to update it using PC via cable and xbox accessories app.

Hi, have a look here https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/controllers/wireless-controller-solution if it don't work, then it will need to be sent in for repair.
