Xbox One Wired Network cause Network switch reboot

Hi,

I have been using a wired network connection between my XBox One and Network Switch for a long time without issues. However, recently it looks like the wired network connection of my XBox One causes my network switch to constantly reboot. When I remove the network cable from the network switch everything works fine, however when I plug-in the network cable attached to the XBox One with the XBox One turned on, the network switch reboots.

Nothing in my hardware configuration has changed in over half a year, it looks like either a hardware problem, or maybe a recent software change on the XBox.

Any advice would be highly appreciated. I can use WiFi without issue, but prefer to use wired network.

Try using a different ethernet cable.

Here are a few troubleshooting tips to try resolve your issue:
1. Power cycle your console.
2. Restart both the router and the console.
3. Make sure all devices are updated.
4. Reset router to default settings.

This could be caused by a number of things.

First be sure to fully reboot all devices, console, pc, network related devices etc.

To see if that helps anything.

And run the network tests to check if the network/internet connection is working properly.

When things get choppy it could be a network related cause. For example are you using Wifi as connection or a wired connection between console and PC (Windows 10)

Wired network as well. When diagnostics ran on X-box one it says open, and in Ghosts it says moderate. I tried switching to wireless and it went to strict then, but I prefer a wired network anyway.
