    Xbox One will turn on only sometimes


    My Xbox has developed a power on problem. Sometimes it does turn on, but most of the time the lights flash, it start making noises and shut itself down moments later. It varies in time. Sometimes it almost goes for the green screen with the logo, other times
    it just give up a second after i press the turn on "button"

    First I tought it was the power brick, cause it was making a loud noise, but I bought a new one and still get the same problem. I also tried turning it on with all acessories unplugged.

    Really don't know what else to do

    Hey Bernardo thanks for taking the time to bring this issue to us!

    We suggest checking out our Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on troubleshooter. Now if the issue
    persists after that troubleshooter has been done we suggest to turn the console on to the troubleshooter page (on the console) and do a soft factory reset from there:

    If you're unable to get to the dashboard at all to do the factory reset you need to access the Troubleshoot screen by using these steps :

    1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.
    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
    4. Press and hold the BIND button (located on the left side of the console) and the
      EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
      Xbox button on the console.
    5. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
    6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
      BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    Also try a different power outlet (no power strip)

    From there you can reset your console.

    Hi Razor1269,

    Try changing your power mode to Energy Saving, this can be done by going to
    Settings --> Power & Startup and changing the power mode from
    Instant-On.

    As well as the headset, if you are referring to the chat headset which came with the console, that's specifically for voice chat.

    I would try different USB ports on the Xbox and then if that gives the same result try it on a computer if you are able.
    I've tried it on all USB ports. It worked fine last night
