Xbox one volume issue, cannot adjust mixer

Hi y’all I was wondering if anyone could help me with an Xbox volume issue?

For some odd reason On the chat mixer, I slide headset volume all the way down but the volume still stays the same, also I cannot adjust the party and game sound. I have no idea what this could be it’s only just started happening, does anyone know any fixes or is it just a glitch in my console?

Cant chat or hear with chat headset!

have you adjusted the volume mixer to the game chat side, i know some have it to full game volume then obviously cannot hear anybody, just checking as it can be easily done.

    No sound on my headset

    Hello!

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. There is an audio setting called chat mixer which balances the party chat volume with the rest of the volume on the console. The article entitled

Troubleshoot Audio Problems in Parties on Xbox One
explains how to adjust the chat mixer. Be sure to let us know the results!

    Sound/audio

    Hi YonEer

Your chat mixer may be set to focus only on the conversation. To adjust the level of sound while communicating, adjust the Chat mixer

    settings:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide, then select System > Settings.
Select Display & sound > Volume.
Select Chat mixer, the choose one of the options.

check the headset chat mixer in your audio settings also check the xbox general settings Go to your volume and audio out put in xbox settings and adjust your volume options in the chat mixer the party chat output and finally see what setting you have
under the headset audio. If you need assistance with this please come back and one of our volunteers will be able to assist your issue.

    Headphones not playing sound

Hello InsOmnia07, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your headset.

Which brand headset is it please? Does it have a separate volume/mixer? If so then you would need to adjust the mixer and volume until you hear the game.

If the headset does not have it's own volume/mixer then tap the Guide button on the controller to bring up the side menu and scroll down to the volume icon and adjust your settings there.

If there is still no sound then it may be the 3.5 mm jack on the controller that is the problem
