    XBOX One video app problems


    If anyone one out there can help me with an issue i'm having with my XBOX video app it would be greatly appreciated. Bear with me because I'm a first time poster. I can go into the app itself but it will no longer play trailers, movies or any show that I
    have bought or rented. Whenever I try to play anything all it does is drop me back to the homepage. Things I have done to try and fix the problem so far are as follows; I have flushed the memory by doing a total reboot, restarted my router, erased the video
    app, and took the machine back to it's factory default settings. All my other apps and games seem to work just fine, which includes Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon. Also, my XBOX 360 doesn't have this problem so I'm really at a loss here. One final thing to note.
    I have been in contact with a several Microsoft techs for over a week now but they so far have not been able to pin down the cause of the problem either. Although they did fix another issue with my router ports being closed. As I said before, any help would
    be appreciated.

    Xbox One App Streaming

    Netflix app? Amazon video app? Xbox video app? Or all video streaming apps? Did you try a hard reset? Sorry you are having problems. I have only used Amazon and Netflix. So far nothing terrible happening for me yet. Though I use those apps infrequently

    That seemed to be e problem, you have to have the xbox video app running for your devices to see it which seems a little odd.

    Hey D3nted Knight,

    Hope you're still not having this issue! The Xbox Video app has recently received an update and the Xbox One dashboard has also received its "February" update as well. Please try and watch some Xbox videos/trailers and see if you still have any issues.

    Hope you're still not having this issue! The Xbox Video app has recently received an update and the Xbox One dashboard has also received its "February" update as well. Please try and watch some Xbox videos/trailers and see if you still have any issues.

    Install a game from disc, download updates, all while watching a video feed from one of the many Apps on the Xbox One console. I've installed games while watching videos off Netflix and YouTube. The Xbox One can run multiple apps at once, no problems at
    all.

    Streaming Videos not playing since update.

    I've been experiencing the same thing over the past few days ( live video streams or recorded video streams stutters and then eventually stops as audio continues, screen sometimes goes blank (green), stuttering video looks like it's skips frames forwards
    and backwards in a loop ). The same problem has occurred in these apps : Amazon Instant Video, YouTube, CBS News, and ABC News. I could have checked other apps, but what's the point? It's got to be affecting all video apps I'm sure. I checked both full screen
    and Snap video for all these apps and the problem is the same.

    XBox Live on the XBox One has been a terrible experience for me over the past year or two. This is just the latest problem. One buys a game console or set-top box to get AWAY FROM this troubleshooting nonsense.

    Vudu and Amazon Video having problems since the New Xbox One Update. "Judder" or "Stutter" like effect when videos are playing on these two apps.
