Xbox one version vs X/S version

If you get the Xbox One version of the game, you need to purchase a separate license for the Xbox Series X/S version for you to be able to experience the next gen version of the game. There's no option yet to directly upgrade it.

As stated on the description, it says "Consumers who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive access to the Xbox One version on April 4th, 2023."

Digital only and disc version disk version is the plainly labeled xbox one s

Xbox X/S, it’s a disk version, I think I will have to buy the Xbox one version. Will I be able to transfer the save from the Xbox X/S version to the Xbox One version?

I'm not sure about that, as far I remember. All consoles that has the same version (Such as default original xbox game) thats backwards compatible on all consoles, will indeed allow OG vs 360 vs One (S AllDig X)

NO! Unlike some games that have an Xbox One version that will upgrade to the the S|X version if you put it in a series X, NBA2K for S|X is a complete different version than the Xbox One version and it will not work if you put the disc inside of an Xbox One. Xbox One cannon run a Series X game and putting a Series X disc inside an X1 will not install the X1 version.
