Why don't my screenshots on Xbox One upload to OneDrive?

    Hello,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are trying to upload your screenshots from Xbox One to OneDrive. There could be several reasons why your screenshots on Xbox One are not uploading to OneDrive - limit of 10 GB captures has been meet, the automatic upload was disable or capture is no longer available. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

    Clear your Xbox One cache:

    • Clearing your Xbox One cache can help resolve issues with uploading screenshots to OneDrive. To do this, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One for 10 seconds to fully power it off.
    • Then, unplug the power cord from the back of the console and wait for 10 seconds before plugging it back in and turning on your Xbox One.

    Check your OneDrive storage:

    • Ensure that you have enough storage space on your OneDrive account to upload the screenshots. Free storage of OneDrive is 5 GB if you exceed, you may need to upgrade the storage to 1TB which is included to Microsoft 365 subscription.

    Check your OneDrive settings:

    • Make sure that your OneDrive settings are configured to allow uploads from your Xbox One.
    • To do that, go to Profile & system > Settings > Preferences > Capture & share > Automatic uploads. You can enable automatic uploads for OneDrive, the Xbox network, or both.

If none of these steps work, please provide us a screenshot of the issue and details about the storage.

    Sincerely,

Upload Studio only sends some clips to OneDrive

I would like to see a OneDrive upload queue, they never appear in the Upload queue from the drop down list.

So after posting this I added some brand new clips to upload to OneDrive and they appeared in the queue. However before I posted I added 7 clips that previously didn't upload in a batch and within a minute they appeared on OneDrive. My internet isn't fast
enough for that. So it seems like the clips must fail but remain cached on OneDrive and when you re-upload them they continue from that point.

So I noticed another strange thing which makes me think I pinpointed the behavior. I had the OneDrive web page open at the folder it uploads to. A clip had uploaded to this folder and another was in progress. When the second one uploaded I noticed that the
first clip was replaced with the second. It appears they both had the same file name 21-09-2018_10-28-28_PM.mp4 and it's my suspicion that when they are queued to upload to OneDrive some of the clips must be queued at the same second and hence have the same
filename. I'm going to play with adding each clip to the queue one by one instead of selecting them all and uploading them.

Would also be great if you could specify OneDrive as the default upload location for clips, instead of Xbox Live.

Why Can’t I Save My Capture Videos To Mobile Device?

    Hi Gmjones97,

Yes, you can use OneDrive as everyone has stated. When you upload a clip or screenshot on your Xbox One, go to the capture you just created and you will have an option to upload to OneDrive. You can get OneDrive on PC or mobile devices, you can view the
    content you uploaded there.

Make sure you sign in with the same Microsoft account you use with Xbox on OneDrive.

How do I upload my old captures to my OneDrive

Hi, Zack. I’m Arturo, and I’ll be glad to provide assistance with your inquiry today.

Captures on the Xbox network are the ones that will be deleted after 90 days once January 2024 arrives.

You can upload the captures on the Xbox network by opening the clip > press A on the share button > press A once you highlight the OneDrive option.

Another way to upload the captures to OneDrive is highlight your capture > highlight “upload to OneDrive” > Press A.

How do i transfer my gameplay videos to my smartphone from my xbox one?

On your Xbox App, click on the video you want to download. Click on the Share button (a sort of square with an arrow coming out of it) and one of the options is "save". This will save the video to your phone's memory. This is how I have done it on my iPhone
    X.

Alternatively, upload the video to OneDrive on your console, then download from the OneDrive.

Apologies for the duplicate response, another user edited their post :)
