Xbox one updates are for games I do not own

No, it doesn't apply to me unfortunately. I do not own an Xbox One nor do I plan on getting one. This is absolutely ridiculous, update Xbox accessories!

Hello there!

We understand that you currently own Minecraft Xbox One Edition on your Xbox One console.

Do you currently own the disc version of Minecraft, or do you own this digitally?

The feature of cross-platform gaming was introduced through the Better Together update when the original Minecraft Xbox One Edition
became just Minecraft.

Within the provided link is more information regarding this update, if you could look through this and then let us know what you think.

Best wishes!

I own both the PS4 and XBOX ONE and there have been console and game updates for both.

me too minecraft is dead to me after xbox nov update now it keeps saying

DO YOU OWN THIS GAME OR APP 0x803f8001 no one wonts to help on xbox support.

The max size of a system update for the Xbox One is always less than 4GB.

Depending on what game you're going to play, that game developer will have updates for their game. Microsoft has NOTHING to do with game updates for games that they don't own.

The Xbox will tell you if it's a system update or a game update. If it's for a game, then you need to yell at the game developer. Which they were probably getting yelled at already for not fixing the bugs or glitches in the game sooner.
