Xbox One update, came back and it wont power on.

Damn! So sorry. It must be a power supply then. Try to unplug and leave it for sometime. I presume that box is on the good ventilated place? Then try again.

Try this:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

Tried this, still nothing.

However, when using original power supply, when I plug into xbox the light on supply goes off and there is nothing.

When I use the after market one from my working xbox the light goes green for a second then goes red. I press the power button it beeps but doesn't switch on and the supply light goes back to red.

You might try a factory reset using a USB flash drive. Here are the instructions on how to do this from Xbox Support.

Just tried this method but nothing. Same as last reset.

Original power supply I get light off and no beeps.

After market power supply light goes from green to red, it beeps but no power on.

Try unplugging all external storage then unplug power cord and hold rhe power button for 10 seconds. Reinstall power cord in back the press the power button if it piwers on replug in your external storage devices. Hope this helps
