    Xbox One TV no sound and not filing screen


    After streaming my Xbox one to my laptop, the tv app no longer has any sound regardless of the volume level set on the tv. Also there are now black bars on the left and right. This was never a problem before and it is even doing it on my HD channels.

    Xbox One issues after 07.02.16 update

    My Xbox one is no longer playing sound from Blue-Rays. It plays TV sound and will continue to play TV sound while Blue-Ray picture is running. This is since the latest update. I tried turning off the TV source then I have no sound. I restarted Xbox one twice
    but no help.

    It's hard to help with out actually seeing what you mean by pip. I'm assuming you mean the Xbox screen is in little box in one of the corners of the tv screen, if this is the case, it sounds like it is the PIP setting on your tv.

    Have you flicked through your tv's inputs to see if the Xbox screen will display normally?

    Do you have any other HDMI devices that display correctly?

    My question is...is it the TV because it doesn't sound like its the Xbox One if it works on another TV just fine.....You can also test this by setting up the xbox one on another TV.

    The internet mentions something about a firmware update for the TV.....I'm not familiar to guide or make suggestions on those topics. (Searching Hisense TV Black screen problem)
