    How do I change the channels? I do not own a Kinect. Can't afford one at the moment too expensive.. Wish I had one but oh well. Anyways

    How do you change the channel? I have XFinity and can't seem to change it.. It's stuck on USA Network and I press A to go to Nick @Nite 2 but no luck

    Xbox one TV help

    You will probably need a freeview box. I'm not really sure how that all works because we don't have freeview in the United States. Assuming freeview boxes connect via HDMI, then you can use it on Xbox One. Otherwise you will need a freeview box and the Xbox
    One Digital TV Tuner.

    I'm guessing you're in the UK you can get an "Xbox One Digital TV Tuner" which plugs into the back of the Xbox, which you can then use to connect your aerial to. About £25.

    Let's you do all the cool stuff TV stuff, and also lets you stream the TV to PCs/phones/tablets around the house too.

    X1 Platform/Xbox One Set Up

    Alright figured it out! Hopefully this will help everyone else.

    TV to X1: TV to "Input 1 or 2"

    X1 to Xbox one: "HDMI HD to TV" to Xbox one "HDMI IN"

    Before I wasn't getting any "cable" picture on my Xbox. Let me know if this helps you guys out.

    Hi mtrboat,

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums for assistance, I'd be happy to help.

    The HDMI IN port on the Xbox One console is used to connect your cable or satellite TV box in order to view your TV channels directly from an app on the Xbox One console. It really isn't used for anything else besides that, so if you want to set up your
    cable provider box that is where you would plug in the HDMI cable for the TV box.

    Follow this guide for reference if you want to set up TV on an Xbox One X console:

    Set up live TV with your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console
