    Xbox One TV App Not Working


    'Your TV signal was lost

    Make sure your cable or satellite box is on and plugged into your Xbox.'

    So I turn on my X1 this morning(Afternoon), go to watch TV, and am greeted with this. Nothing has changed since last night. I even tried the suggested fixes, including, Power Cycling, and changing the HDMI cable. If I plug it directly into my TV I can watch
    it no problem. Meaning the problem has to be either the X1 or there was a software update to my Sat. Box making it incompatible with my X1 for some reason. Right?

    Hey everyone!

    Our Xbox One updated today automatically at about 3pm, and since then the TV tuner hasn't been working. It can find the channels, but it can't load up the One Guide, or show any channels. It's like it didn't exist in the first place. We've rebooted the console,
    re-tuned the tv into the Xbox, unplugged the tuner and restarted the xbox and haven't had any luck.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    I also have a Time Warner cable Cisco Explorer 8642HDC box and I'm getting the exact same results: "2d" displayed, goes back and forth from 1080 to 480. This solution didn't help. Any other solutions?

    Power cycling the Xbox One has been working for a lot of people. Hold the power button on the console for 10 second until it powers off, unplug it and wait 1 minute. Plug console back in and power back up and hopefully the problem should be fixed. Merry

    I have a direct tv box. Small update here I can control the tv through the xbox smart glass app everything works fine except the one guide on the xbox itself and the app.

    Only 1 HDMI connection - Want to set up TV on xbox one but not use xbox one.

    What part of this didn't work? It should be pretty straight forward, cable box to Hdmi input on xbox one, xbox one hdmi out to tv. Click on the tv app on the xbox one, and than use cable box remote to switch tv channels.
