    Everything was working great until I connected my tuner, now everthing turns on but no video I can hear xbox one preforming task when I give voice command but no picture on the tv.

    Vizio specific TV power on command issue

    I have a Vizio E470VA TV that I am having a problem getting to work well with the Xbox One. I've gone through both the automatic setup and have also tried to manually enter my TV model with identical results. I've also tried power cycling the Xbox as a simple
    troubleshooting step with no luck.

    Here is my issue, the Xbox does attempt to turn on the TV, but it appears to send not quite the right code as the TV does appear like it's trying to turn on but the backlight never turns on. Normally when you power on the tv the Vizio logo flashes on the
    screen for a second then the picture comes on, but when the Xbox turns it on, no logo is displayed and the picture remains black. If you manually turn the tv off and back on everything works fine. Powering off the TV also works fine from the Xbox.

    I did some searching online and I found this Reddit thread with somebody with the same issue as well: "Xbox On" Turns on the TV, but there's no picture : xboxone

    Solution - TV with AND without Xbox One

    Do you lose any picture quality or Xbox TV features? Also, does your Xbox still turn your TV and box on/off?

    I'm also figuring you end up using 2 hdmis on your TV as opposed to 1, and if your Xbox goes into standby does the TV picture problem still exist when trying to watch through the Xbox? (Loss of TV picture when coming out of standby)

    If the Xbox One turns off my TV it won't turn it back on

    Same problem with TV, and same model. TV turns on to black screen and does not display the 'Vizio' logo. Have to turn it on, then off with tv remote to see a picture.

    This began with the March update, as it worked perfectly from launch day until now.

    Go into your video settings on the tv and turn off anything that is a picture enhancer. Dynamic motions, noise reduction, picture smoothing..... All of that. I was using the exact same tv settings as my 360 as well but something about the xbox one required
    different settings on the tv.
