Xbox one trouble ( please help)

so I tried to go to the app store to get new games other than Minecraft, and then realized I did not want more games so I tried to exit the app store, but now my Xbox is stuck on a black screen, and I have been trying turning the t v on and off, and the
only thing I can do is TURN the console on and off. I can not even press the home button to pull up the slide thing that shows your profile, games you recently played, ext. Please help!

Remember that the only thing I can do is hold down the home button, and turn the Xbox on and off!

Heya!

Since powering the console on and off does not permanently fix the issue let's have you do the following:

Remove your profile from the console.

Power cycle the console.

Sign back in and test the console once more.

If this does not help
soft factory reset the console by choosing "Keep my games and apps."

Post back and let us know how that goes!

Hello Taddimuss,

This issue with slow internet would be your ISP download and upload speeds from there, You would need to upgrade your internet service in order to drop your packet loss. The xbox takes quite a bit of network resources when playing so it is more than likely
eating up your bandwidth.

Anthoer thing you can do is try to port forwarded all ports associated with xbox live

support.xbox.com/.../network-ports-used-xbox-live Check that link for further help how do that. I hope I was somewhat helpful to your needs

G'day Chilidog! Deleting the update files is a good step to take, in case one of them is causing the issue. Once they're deleted, you should only have to re-download the latest update when you launch the game. Can you let us know the result once you're able
to try the suggestions offered so far? =)
