Xbox one Trim Fix/work around, hope it helps

I have a work around for the trim feature not working. I tend to find it works with 2 minute recordings a lot better than with any other size.

Also rather than load the video editor I tend to trim my clips directly from the recent captures.

I have now uploaded a video focusing on this issue, it shows me trimming the clips and the issues leading after that, I would hope if someone could watch it and give me some help related to the issue so I can fully trim this clip without any errors occuring,

After examining your video, and looking at it from my console, The "Trim" option you have available on that bar, isn't available in my app strangely. Not sure why that trim option is there, have you checked to see if the Xbox DVR has been updated recently?

Alternatively (as a work around) to trim your clip, you can "edit in Upload Studio" which will allow you trim the clip in that app (Simply pushing the left stick to move the starting point, and the right stick to move the ending
point) and will allow you to save and upload the trimmed clip to xbox or onedrive as well.

Actually it was the one with the pink trim and long flight of stairs. It was the Ocean Becah one (not the Hotel, but there is another one somewhere around around Ocean Beach).

Trim has only worked once out of 50 times. What is wrong over at Microsoft? Because this console is falling apart. Are they about to shut down the Xbox division? They add features but they don't work and they never fix anything. The Dashboard is laggy,
the background round color changes to green by itself, and just poor performance all around.

Its been a problem now for over a year and a half and its still not fixed so YES i would say "useless at their job" . I shouldn't have to reboot or delete stuff just so i can trim a 10 second clip .

I could trim clips easier on my mobile phone 10 years ago than i can today on my xbox one and thats saying something, if you go on gogle and type in xbox trim captures and you will just get page after page of people complaining about it but nothing ever
gets done , all we get is reboot it and try again lol that is not a fix its a method that sometimes (and i do me sometimes) works but
