Xbox one test account

Did the connection test show any error or the test results were the aimed ones?

Also, what country/region is your Microsoft account, Xbox profile and computer settings?

can you test with a different account on your Xbox to see if it is only with a problem with your account or whether it is your Xbox?

just starting a Party and testing to see if the blue ring shows will be enough.

edit to add:

although you have checked the audio settings, go to the mic sensitivity and move the slider to one end and test the mic, then go back in to the settings and move the slider to the other end and test again.

testing the network and multiplayer settings on the console. We need to make sure the console has a stable connection to Xbox Live. We will provide steps on how to test the network connection. Once the connection has been tested and passes the tests, we
recommend
removing the profile and downloading it back to the console. This will require the email address and password of the account. That information must be known before this step is taken. Be sure to let us know the results!

No worries on the delay. Do you have another Xbox Live account on your Xbox One you can test to see if the same error occurs? This would help narrow down to either a network or account issue.

Unfortunately I don't have another Xbox Live Account that I could test. Might there be another way?

Unfortunately, I don’t have xbox live on the child account. Because of this, I won’t be able to test if multiplayer works on the xbox one.
