I am in the same position. Saw that some people I knew had got this and thought I would receive something similar (had a 360 from launch but it unfortunately died out of warranty). Sadly it seems to be random and some good customers are missing out.

 

I've checked my mailboxand spam folders and have not received this either. I'd like to take advantage of the offer if possible

 

Same here. I have had a couple of friends have this email and I was really looking forward to getting the same deal but had nothing. I have checked my spam and junk folders to.

 

It appears that this offer is only going out to certain individuals who have been randomly selected. I spoke to someone on the Xbox sales page help chat and I was told a second wave of e-mails would be going out on the 9th April but I still didn't receive
one.

If it is randomly selected then I would question Microsoft/Xbox for not making that clear in the e-mail that contained the offer. The phrasing in the e-mail suggests that the offer has been sent only to "valuable customers" which implies that those of us
who haven't received the e-mail aren't valuable enough, which seems a bit insulting really. Could potentially alienate some of the fanbase.

 

Definitely feeling a bit unloved by MS here :-(

 

Hey dude,

I wouldn't worry too much, am sure it'll come out eventually.

One suggestion, have you ensured that you can receive promotional emails from Microsoft? You can do this by going to "My account", then clicking on "Security, family & forums", then from their clicking on "Contact Preferences". Make sure the first box is
ticked, and the email address at the bottom is up to date

That may or may not help you, but is the best I can offer

I was on my Xbox 360 today and saw that offer advertised in the store! If you're interested, you should look for it.
