    Xbox One takes almost 40 minutes to load, sometimes gives "Error 0x8027025a - dashboard...


    So yesterday (afternoon, it worked fine in the morning) I turned my Xbox One on which took nearly 40 minutes. Once it was loaded, it was basically stuck on dashboard as even opening the friends menu took 10 minutes. I performed two hard restarts, but fixed
    nothing. This morning I turned it on again, took another 40 minutes before giving "Error 0x8027025a - dashboard took too long to load". After another 15 minutes of waiting the dashboard finally loaded, but again couldn't actually do anything because of how
    slow it was. No games will load either, be they downloaded or on disk. Need help trying to fix this, as buying a new Xbox isn't ideal money-wise (especially given the current circumstances).

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with console loading. We recommend to do either a

    soft factory reset     or an
    offline update    . If you can get the troubleshoot menu to come up try the soft reset.

    Hello Jack,

    Try resetting the console to factory defaults. to do that please go to this link that can help you: https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/reset-console-to-factory-defaults

    But if your dashboard dosen't load, You need to go to the troubleshoot menu. To do that please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hYdza-udoi0

    Then, select Reset this Xbox. And choose Reset keeping my games and apps.

    If it still dosen't work, try do an
    offline update    .

    Yes, it is error code 0x8027025a. More specifically what happens is this, I put my game into my Xbox one and it doesn't automatically load. I click on the game tile/square and the game logo appears, but my game doesn't advance past that screen. Instead
    I get kicked back to the dashboard with error 0x8027025a. Then i have to restart my Xbox to get it to load my games. I don't have any issues with crashing during gameplay, just with loading my games. Oh and btw guys, i am using auto play.
