Xbox One switch off itself

Hi everyone.

My Xbox One is about three years old and I have used it an average 1+ hour a day. I have played only NHL 17, NHL 18 and NHL 19, lol. Two years ago also a little Fifa.

Few months ago in the middle of NHL 19 match, Xbox switched off itself! It continued irregularly from time to time but I was able to play for over 2 hours before that. Just a while ago, believe or not was a two-week break when I was able to use Xbox for
as long as I wanted without that problem.

I asked help from Microsoft customer service chat, he said that I should make full reset and download NHL 19 again. I did it but same problem continue. At the moment, the situation is that I can play only 15 minutes when Xbox switch off. I have lost hundreds
games because that. But it’s not the point. I cant’ believe how quite new Xbox can do this... I dont’ know is this power problem or what..

I don’t see other option than to buy an expensive Playstation whats work. I thinked I use this last chance and hope someone can say something? And sorry bad english.

Warrety is not valid more. Even though the fix would be cheaper than the new console, the problem may come again. I also don't think they will fix anything under 100 euros. If the problem is more demanding, it would even be crazy to continue with this

Thank you for helping. I just tried compressed air, but you know what happened when i played 15 minutes -...-

In my opinion Xbox isn’t so hot, little warm but I believe it’s very normal.

That's what service is for, they will diagnose and resolve your issue.

It wouldn't be as expensive as buying a Playstation 4.

That's a risk you take with anything.

It really sounds like you've made up your mind and don't really want to solve the problem, you have every reason not to get it serviced and any suggestion made is waved away.

It's not going to magically fix itself and nothing we say is going to make it work.

You yourself said it could be an overheating issue, you can try buying compressed air and blowing out the vents.

Today new record: I can play 7 minutes! I have Nhl 19 digital version, Can I sell it?
