Xbox one stuck on 86% in update screen. What do I do?

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:



Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console



1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: If you are using an external hard drive, turn off your console then disconnect the external hard drive. Turn on the console without and see if the update goes through.

Solution 3: If you are trying to update the console through the settings section. Please try setting up a mobile hotspot connection using your phone, then connect the console to the hotspot connection. Try updating your console after that and see if it works.

No as stated in my original question the OFFLINE UPDATE with an OSU usb stick also gets stuck at 86%

I do not get any screen or error code when it reaches 86% it just gets stuck.

Important Be sure to wait two minutes seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

I tried it again and now the update gets stucked at 72% and sometimes 86% for a long time and sometimes takes me back to the trouble shoot screen

Xbox One S console update stuck at (Step 3 of 3: Applying) (66%)/ 86%

Its been stuck like this for nearly 24 hours and still no progress and i done a hard restart and I turned it off and unplugged it for a couple of hours and it keeps on getting stuck at 66%/86%. I NEED HELP PLS.
