Xbox One stuck in surge mode - console will not turn on but power button makes clicking...

I had this happen to me before as well.

I know most gaming establishments will let you test the power supply and if it is that they might sell them.

no dont have another power bank but the xbox doesnt even make a sound now

has a content orange light on the power supply

Is there by an chance you have another power pack laying around to try and see if the pack that has an issue?,

1. Press and hold the Bind button (the one on the left side) and the Eject button located in the front, and press the Xbox button on the console.
   
2. Continue to hold the Bind and Eject buttons for around 15 seconds.
   
3. When you listen to the power-up tones, release the Bind and Eject buttons, and the Xbox One Startup Troubleshooter will load.
   

I've tried the unorthodox way and it makes vary light boot up sounds but doesnt turn on we had this happen about a month ago also and I hit the main breaker in out house a few times and it fixed it but this time it didn't

This is not a good idea. The power cable must be firmly seated in the socket.

Carefully Follow the steps in Reset power supply solution especially the 1st and 2nd pages to determine if the "power brick"
is faulty.
