    Xbox One Strict Nat Type


    I just moved into a new apartment and this problem never happened before when i lived in a house but my xbox wont get off strct nat type it says that upnp is not succesful and it says that i have a port preserving port symmetric nat and all the instructions
    online i think are only for houses because i dont know if anything happens when i change my router settings since my xbox is hard wired straight to the building wifi

    Okay, it may be down to your NAT Type being strict or moderate. Have a look at the

    Nat Type Strict (Or Moderate)     to find out if you have a strict or moderate NAT Type, and how to resolve it.
