Xbox One streaming to a PC+Kinect

Hello!

I'm wondering if some of you have tried to use the Kinect adapter connected to a PC streaming.

This means that the Xbox One is streaming to a Windows 10 PC, and the Kinect is connected to the PC instead of the Xbox One.

Is this technically possible?

Xbox One streaming wont start "Kinect issue"

Hi all,

Sometimes I do have the issue when I try to start streaming my xbox one from the xbox app on windows 10 I do receive the following error message:

Kinect-Spiele können nicht gestreamt werden. | Streaming beenden | Zu meiner Sammlung

Kinect-Games cannot be streamed. | End streaming | To my collection

Since its clear to me that I cannot use the kinect on my pc (not even connected) I do click "to my collection", but that does not help the error message keeps coming up, so there is no way to get the streaming up and running...

Maybe someone has any idea how to solve this issue?

Streaming on Mixer

Upload Studio in combination with the depth information from a Kinect Camera was/is able to remove the background of a video. I've seen an example for that on a fair when the Xbox One was launched when they demonstrated Upload Studio. However, since then
a lot of features including Kinect were removed, and I don't know if that still works.

Either way, it wouldn't have worked for live streaming like Twitch or Mixer.

So if you still have a Kinect Camera, it would be a good idea as Mistress Sara suggests to post that idea on the Uservoice site.

If you don't have a Kinect, you would need the PC setup, with a green screen behind you, and the PC streaming software using the Chroma Key feature (if your streaming software has such a feature) to remove everything green from the video.

Just make sure to not wear a green shirt, unless you want to be a bodyless floating head and hands in your video ;-)
