Xbox One startup very slow

hey there guys mine is doing the same... does anyone here have any information regarding this... and isnt microsoft reading this threads so they can help ?

So I was having the same problem after the update. My console would sit in green screen for 10 mins and then it would take another 3 or so until the dashboard worked. Even after it all loaded I still had problems.

Here is how I solved it.

1. I removed my account from the Xbox.

2. I then turned off the xbox and removed the power cord for 30 sec.

3. I pushed the button on the left side of box and the eject button at same time for 15 sec. While keeping these pressed I also hit the power button. After hitting the power button, while still holding the left side button and eject

wait for the second power on beep and you should be in the trouble shoot screen.

4. I selected reset this xbox(whatever the option was on the bottom left box), make sure you select save games. I went through the start up, added my account. I'm not sure if I powered down after this was done or not.

5. It restated back to normal and has been running great since. I also powered down, removed the power cord for 30 sec and restarted back up and it's back to running the way it did before the update, nice and fast.

Well it took me ove 30 mins and it didnt start at all and i almost were late to my bus

still waiting on my console to start up. It's been 10 minutes now. And I'm just staring at a black screen

I am so glad I'm not alone on this one. I have been having the exact same issue. I just timed my startup at green screen (4.5 minutes) black loading screen at (2.75 minutes) and loading the dashboard / logging into my account (1 minuet). That's a total
of 8.25 minutes. This is way beyond acceptable in my opinion. Standing by for an update to fix this, or a sign that Xbox Support is taking a look into this issue. I can tell you one thing though, the Play Station 4 is sounding mighty nice right about now.

mine takes minimum five minutes of green logo screen. Totally unacceptable. I have a PS4 pro as well, so this is a bad time for Xbox to drop the ball.

Just this morning I had a very slow start and then no response on my controller.

This evening the TV froze and after a hard reboot I get a click every few seconds (definitely coming from the console itself) and it doesn't seem to want to boot even to the green screen.

Going to unplug and wait a bit then check again, but after my Kinect died JUST after the warranty expired and support did absolutely nothing for me (besides offer me anew one for $89), I have this awful suspicion that I'm going to be out of warranty,have
a busted system and need to buy an S just as gears comes out which will once again show that support for this hardware is utter garbage.
