Xbox One startup very slow

After the NXOE update, starting up my Xbox seems very slow to bootup. The dashboard itself seems fine and is usually very responsive. Anybody having a slow bootup time. It seems like the bootup time is maybe over 30 seconds.

Unplugging the Kinect definitely helps, but I still wait about 30-45 seconds before getting to the actual dashboard. Love staring at that spinny circle.. :/

Go into your storage and clear your system cache, that should help it a bit.

 

Do you have it on energy saving mode?

 

Have you tried hard rebooting your xbox one? Press and hold the power button until your xbox turns off wait 10 seconds and turn your console back on. When you restart your xbox you should see a green xbox start up screen.

I have it on energy saving mode. But before it seems like it didn't take that long to boot up. And yes I have hard reset the console many times.

 

I have noticed mine taking quite a while to boot up as well, with instant on enabled. Seems to be hanging when logging into my account. First few days of the update it was a bit faster than prior to the update but it seems to be getting longer and longer.
Fully shutting it down and restarting it doesn't seem to have any effect.

 

My xbox is to the point where after waiting 3 minutes for the green animation screen, my xbox goes responsive on the dashboard after 1 minute

 

I have the same issue, once I turn on my Xbox I have the green circle saying signing in that lasts about 3 minutes before I get to the home screen. I have my system set to instant on which is supposed to turn on my system in seconds according to Xbox. Before
the update it was pretty fast so it has to be something that changed. Does Xbox support actually read these because no other Xbox users seem to know how to fix this.

 

I am having a similar problem.

 

I would like for the next update to speed up the startup time. I got the latest update yesterday since I'm a preview member.

 

I am so glad I'm not alone on this one. I have been having the exact same issue. I just timed my startup at green screen (4.5 minutes) black loading screen at (2.75 minutes) and loading the dashboard / logging into my account (1 minuet). That's a total
of 8.25 minutes. This is way beyond acceptable in my opinion. Standing by for an update to fix this, or a sign that Xbox Support is taking a look into this issue. I can tell you one thing though, the Play Station 4 is sounding mighty nice right about now.

Just this morning I had a very slow start and then no response on my controller.

This evening the TV froze and after a hard reboot I get a click every few seconds (definitely coming from the console itself) and it doesn't seem to want to boot even to the green screen.

Going to unplug and wait a bit then check again, but after my Kinect died JUST after the warranty expired and support did absolutely nothing for me (besides offer me anew one for $89), I have this awful suspicion that I'm going to be out of warranty,have
a busted system and need to buy an S just as gears comes out which will once again show that support for this hardware is utter garbage.

 

mine takes minimum five minutes of green logo screen. Totally unacceptable. I have a PS4 pro as well, so this is a bad time for Xbox to drop the ball.

 

still waiting on my console to start up. It's been 10 minutes now. And I'm just staring at a black screen
