Xbox One slow Lan connection

I live in England so broadband is not the fastest. I have Virgin 200 Mbps fiber which runs around the 160 to 210 Mbps mark . My Xbox is situated 2. 2 meters from my router with 2 walls and 2 sets of draws in between them. My Xbox has always been connected
on WiFi with about 90 Mbps download but this can disconnect quite frequently due I think to the thickness of the two walls. I recently installed 2 Cat5e cables one for my Ps4 the other for my Xbox One. The WiFi speeds have stayed the same (as you would expect)
but the Lan speed on the Xbox is below 10 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload. The lan speed on the Ps4 matches its WiFi speed of between 90 and 100. I have tested the cables with a line tester and they are both fine. I have swapped the cables and the problem
is the same . I have tried another patch lead and the result is the same. The Lan port on the Xbox One does not work above 10 Mbps. Do I need to change settings in my Virgin Hub 3 or is the Xbox faulty. I am asking the same question on the Virgin Media Help
site . Just wondered if you guys had a tech solution on the Xbox side.

hi THANKS FOR REPLY. Tried a couple of times but still the same problem Virgin tried fixing by remote but just did what I had already done and apparently that was their "Elite gaming squad". Going to try another Xbox on the Lan when I can but not easy
in these times. Thanks for your input and keep safe.

id recommend clearing your alternate mac address and see if that helps.

I would highly reccomend using a ethernet cable directly from the lan port of the xbox into the lan port of the router. If the console is far away from the router, then you can experience network drops or slow speeds. A ethernet connection will be the strongest

1. Your xbox - network connection wifi or lan? (if wifi then try lan and look if it resovle the problem)

2. Do you have another devices conected to network in the same time as your xbox (like pc, your mobile phone etc)?

(try to shut it down and look what happens if you xbox is the only device on internet. I speak from personal experience

When I am on xbox wifi and have my pc lan connected - then it slows my xbox down)

Did he tried if other games work? If none of them are working, maybe your internet is too slow. You use wlan or lan? If you are using wlan you can try to connect a lan cable and see if it works.
