    Xbox One shutting down during Mixer and Twitch broadcasts


    During the latest updates released for Xbox One, the console started shutting down and restarting itself while streaming on Mixer and Twitch and my friends have reported the same issue. They report that it happens on all 3 Xbox One models - Fat, Slim and X. Investigate this as soon as possible.

    mixer is shutting down this month, download the twitch app and select broadcast from within that if you have an account.

    Mixer shuts down all the way July 22 if you want stream straight from you're Xbox on twitch download the app and broadcast button will be in the app for you stream that way

    Hi,

    Yes Mixer formerly beam is to shut down on July 22nd and merge to Facebook gaming. Before mixer they had Twitch in place. If you want to still stream off your console you can download the twitch app. Once downloaded you have to open the twitch app set up
    your pre broadcast settings then hit broadcast and return to the game of your choice to stream.

    Why is mixer not appearing at all on my xbox out of no where when it used to be on till i realised that the broadcast option vanished?

    Hi,

    As of July 22nd Mixer formerly known as beam will be no more. Xbox used mixer as the main broadcasting stream venue. Twitch will be what a lot of people switch to including the ambassadors. You can download the Twitch app and still broadcast off you Xbox
    my accessing the app first and hitting broadcast.

    Thank you for contacting Forum support.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to disable Mixer and to use the options you are recommending you would have to contact Youtube and Twitch for more information/support.
