    Xbox One shuts off when I try to sign in


    Hi, when I try to add a new account and sign in, the xbox one completely shuts off. After I restart the console and try to sign again the xbox one will just not let me sign in, but it doesn't shut off this time, because my profile is already on there.
    My microsoft account works everywhere except on xbox one. It cant be something wrong with the xbox one because it did the some thing on a friend"s console, so there must be something wrong with my account. I've talked to xbox support and they claim there
    isn't anything wrong with my account. I've done everything and nothing works. Please help.

    Xbox One turns off when signing in and navigating menus

    When ever I try to sign in or when I interact with different menus like wifi my xbox one randomly shuts off I was just wondring if anyone had experienced anything similar and if they had how did they fix it thanks.

    Thanks for trying that out, JT! That does help me out. Both the information and the testing!

    Does this mean that your account is a child account and it hasn't been promoted yet? If this is the case, then you will definitely need that admin account back. If you don't have an admin account associated with your child account, and it comes time to promote
    your account, it will cause a few errors. In most countries, you need to be 18 in our system to be able to promote your account.

    Have you contacted support to let them know that you need to get your "orphaned account" (yes, terrible phrasing, but totally accurate) set back up with a parent account? Let's try that first and see if they are able to assist you. Xbox One shuts off when I try to sign in :)

    Hi Alice, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    The issue can be with your console or your network connection.

    Do you happen to have a different network connection such as a mobile hotspot that you can use in the meantime with setting up the console?

    I have two xbox ones and xbox live gold is only working on one of them

    You can only be signed in on one system at a time I think.

    Have you tried logging out and shutting off your currently working xbox? then try logging in on the other one.

    Hey there, JT! What an odd situation! It sounds like your profile might be corrupted, but I can't find any evidence that will suggest that.

    Are you able to try another Xbox One with your account? That will help us determine if there's something wrong with your account as a whole or just your account on your console. Let us know if you're able to try that! :)
